Workiva Integrates Generative AI to Strengthen Platform

Workiva, a cloud-based platform for assured, integrated reporting, has introduced generative artificial intelligence (AI) to its platform. The company said this move aims to boost productivity and efficiency, as well as improve and accelerate data-driven decisions through insights. Generative AI offers users the ability to author, edit, and rewrite content across Workiva’s suite of solutions, which it hopes will help streamline workflows, and allow time to be redistributed for a greater focus on value-add tasks. The firm underlined its commitment to the “responsible use of AI”, ensuring that human judgment, ethical considerations, data privacy, and transparency are considered during the adoption of AI-generated content. David Haila, Chief Technology Officer at Workiva, said: “Given the increasing stakeholder scrutiny of private and public entities, our platform and technology have never been more relevant. We believe we are leading a new wave of innovation in which transformative business value will be achieved through a combination of human expertise, contextual data, and the responsible use of Gen AI technology.”
