Global sustainable data network the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA) has created a new Policy and Regulations Working Group. The working group is aimed at advancing worldwide sustainable data practices and policies, and will focus on providing strategic and technical input on policy and regulatory development matters including sustainability data analytics, indexes, and products. The working group looks to engage with stakeholders including standard setters, policy makers, and regulators It will be co-chaired by Ola Ajadi, Head of Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy, UK MEA at London Stock Exchange Group, and Martina Macpherson, Head of ESG Product Management at SIX. Representatives from S&P Global, Moody’s, Bloomberg, ESG Book, Clarity AI, CDP and OMFIF are already part of the working group. Macpherson said: “Given the complexity related to multiple standards, frameworks, and methods in ESG, it is mission-critical to connect and engage with key stakeholders for more clarity, comparability and consistency of sustainability content and to deliver best in class solutions for the market.”
