Rimm Expands ESG Compliance Tool to Japan

SaaS platform Rimm Sustainability has launched its flagship ESG corporate sustainability and compliance platform – myCSO – in Japan. The country has nearly 4,000 listed companies that are required to disclose sustainability-related information in line with the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclsoures (TCFD). Rimm’s compliance platform, which has been tailored for Japan, includes adaptation with the country’s norms and practices, customised regulatory compliance, localised language support and market relevant metrics. Ravi Chidambaram, CEO of Rimm Sustainability, said: “We are delighted to bring a Japanese version of myCSO to the Asian market, a clear demonstration of our unwavering commitment to helping Japanese organisations navigate the complex landscape of sustainability and compliance. By offering a tailored, regional solution, we can empower Japanese businesses to make informed decisions that drive positive environmental and social impacts.” Masashi Yamashita, Director of Rimm Japan, added: “At Rimm, we are committed to providing sustainability tools to companies operating all around the world. Given the uniqueness and nuances of the Japanese market, it has historically been a difficult country for companies to adapt their products to. However, we are proud share that we have fully localised the myCSO platform and that applications for its use have already begun.”

The practical information hub for asset owners looking to invest successfully and sustainably for the long term. As best practice evolves, we will share the news, insights and data to guide asset owners on their individual journey to ESG integration.
