Minerva CEO Joins Sustainable Sec Lending Initiative

The Global Principles for Sustainable Securities Lending (Global PSSL) has added Sarah Wilson, CEO and Founder of Minerva Analytics, to its roster of strategic advisors. As strategic advisor on asset stewardship, Global PSSL said Wilson would also help with reviewing its UN Pathways Programme, alongside a new senior United Nations reviewer. Global PSSL is focused on the ongoing development and adoption of its principles as a global market standard for sustainable securities lending. In partnership with UN Pathways, it is also working on operationalising principles for transparent public, private and polycentric (3P) collaboration in securities finance. Wilson has contributed to several policy initiatives aimed at supporting stewardship, including open standard voting messages for SWIFT, EU Shareholder Rights Directive 1 and 2, the Kay Review and the Law Commission Review of intermediated securities. She also founded Manifest, the UK’s first electronic proxy voting agency and corporate governance advisory service. Minerva, which specialises in ESG research, stewardship support and proxy voting services, was acquired by German index provider Solactive in January.
