Mark Manning is set to leave his role of Sustainable Finance Strategic Policy Advisor at the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to launch New Paradigm Advisory. The new venture will assist regulators, policymakers, standard-setters and NGOs to deliver the “fundamental transformation” of business and finance required to “secure a sustainable future”. Manning will continue to work in an advisory capacity for the FCA and will help the expansion of FCA change initiatives, including the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT). Manning is a member of the TPT’s Delivery Group, and also serves on the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ Sustainable Finance Taskforce. Manning will also work with International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation to support global adoption of the new sustainability-related reporting standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). He has also previously worked at the Bank of England, Reserve Bank of Australia, Goldman Sachs and Euroclear.
