Jacqueline Jackson has been appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer at local government pension scheme London CIV. Jackson joined London CIV in 2020 and has spent more than three years as Head of Responsible Investment. In her new role she will be responsible for leading and developing London CIV’s responsible investing and corporate sustainability commitment. This includes managing ESG risks and opportunities throughout the investment portfolio, with a climate change risk and stewardship focus. London CIV was established in 2015 by London Local Authorities, with its 32 client funds holding £45 billion (US$54.7 billion) in assets. It is one of eight UK LGPS asset pooling companies. Prior to joining London CIV, Jackson spent almost seven years at S&P Global’s Trucost, a carbon and environmental data and risk analysis company. This included four and a half years as Director of Business Development, ESG and Sustainability.
