The securities services arm of US financial services firm JP Morgan has launched a Sustainable Investment Data Solutions for institutional investors. The tool, which is accessible through Fusion by JP Morgan, offers technology-enabled normalisation, management, calculation, and screening capabilities from provider-supplied sustainable investment data which investors can use to “extract value”. Fusion partnered with data providers including Bloomberg, ISS ESG, MSCI, S&P Global, and Sustainalytics to create what it called a “differentiated and cost-effective solution for investors”. Sustainable Investment Data Solutions provides access to normalised data across providers while offering investors the ability to manage, screen, and create customised metrics. Gerard Francis, Head of Data Solutions at JP Morgan, said: “Data for sustainable investing is particularly challenging given its scale, inconsistency, and incompleteness. We are pleased to work with our providers to deliver a unique and transformative solution for investors. Fusion combines data, technology, and service at scale, to enable investors to extract value in minutes instead of months.”
