US SIF, which represents US-based investors and financial institutions on sustainable investment issues, has elected to its board Julie Gorte, Senior Vice President for Sustainable Investing, Impax Asset Management, and Daniel Hanson, Senior Portfolio Manager at Neuberger Berman. Both will join US SIF’s board of directors for an initial two-year term from 2023 to 2025. The body’s 12-member board of directors provides strategic guidance to advance sustainable investing across all asset classes. Board members also serve on the board of the US SIF Foundation Board, which undertakes educational and research activities to advance the mission of US SIF. Iyassu Essayas, Founder, E&I Consulting Services, and Jonas Kron, Chief Advocacy Officer at Trillium Asset Management, were also re-elected for an additional term. “I am delighted to welcome Julie and Dan to the board and appreciate that Iyassu and Jonas will both serve another term,” said Lisa Woll, CEO of US SIF. “The members of the US SIF board play a critical role in advancing US SIF’s mission and make our organisation stronger.” “The directors and I are proud to welcome these two incredible leaders as new colleagues,” said Diederik Timmer, Chair of the Board of Directors of US SIF, also thanking Impax CIO Steve Falci and Amberjae Freeman, CEO of Etho Capital, for recent service.
