The European Sustainable Investment Forum (Eurosif) has appointed Pierre Garrault as its Senior Policy Adviser. Garrault has over seven years of experience in EU financial services and sustainable finance, having previously worked as Policy Advisor at climate think-tank E3G, where he led work on climate risks, sustainability indicators, and greenwashing. At Eurosif, Garrault will work on the forthcoming review of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and the recently launched European Supervisory Authorities’ consultation on the review of SFDR Delegated Regulation. Garrault will work closely with Aleksandra Palinska, Executive Director of Eurosif, to advise EU policy makers on accelerating the EU sustainable finance agenda. Garrault said: “I am very much looking forward to working with Eurosif’s team and members to support this agenda.” Palinska said Garrault’s “expertise and knowledge will be instrumental […] in the continuing development of the European sustainable finance agenda”.
