Real estate investment firm Europa has hired Alex Edmans as a Strategic Advisor. At Europa, Edmans will be responsible for refining its framework for the firm’s approach to sustainable investing. The company will also draw on Edman’s expertise to ensure that Europa is delivering the best outcomes for its clients. Edmans previously spent three years at Morgan Stanley, including more than two years as a financial analyst. He is also currently a professor of finance at London Business School where he has spent more than a decade, as well as a Global Future Council Member at the World Economic Forum. In a statement, Europa said that Edmans “dedicates his time to understanding how sustainability can create value, when it does not, and how the ‘human factor’ is a key driver of business performance”.
