ESG Book’s Sustainability Data Open to Bloomberg Customers

Corporate sustainability and emissions disclosure data from analytics provider ESG Book is now available on the Bloomberg Terminal and for Bloomberg Data subscribers. The data offered by ESG Book includes climate-related disclosures for around 10,000 companies worldwide. Under a new agreement, Bloomberg and ESG Book clients can access and integrate this data on corporate ESG and climate performance. Dr Daniel Klier, CEO of ESG Book, said: “Demand for high-quality, granular ESG data is soaring, driven by a growing need for investors to fulfil regulatory requirements and meet client demand for greater transparency on non-financial issues. Investors are preparing for a raft of new ESG and climate disclosure rules currently being drawn up by regulators around the world. The US Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to finalise its new climate disclosure rules in the coming months which will require emissions data to be included in corporate financial reports.

The practical information hub for asset owners looking to invest successfully and sustainably for the long term. As best practice evolves, we will share the news, insights and data to guide asset owners on their individual journey to ESG integration.
