Brunel’s Jones Joins PfP as Non-executive Director

Brunel Pension Partnership’s Kevin Jones has been named Non-executive Director at Pensions for Purpose (PfP), where he will support and offer insights to the UK-based pension fund advisor’s management team. Jones has spent five years as Director of Risk & General Counsel at local government pension scheme (LGPS) Brunel, where he is responsible for the legal aspects of transitioning more than £30 billion (US$38 billion) of client assets into the firm’s management. In addition, P4P said Jones’ three decades of legal expertise would “contribute a unique perspective to the company’s growth and strategic direction”. In his role at Brunel, Jones is responsible for establishing investment portfolio legal structures and managing legal relationships and risk. He also leads Brunel’s risk and compliance team, ensuring the LGPS is complying with regulatory responsibilities and overseeing its risk management framework. “Kevin’s appointment represents a significant addition to our board, introducing fresh perspectives and robust legal expertise,” said Charlotte O’Leary, CEO at PfP. “This aligns with our vision of facilitating more positive impact investments and fostering an innovative, responsible business ethos.” Pensions for Purpose advises pension funds on impact investments, and has established a global membership network of over 380 organisations, including pension funds, consultants and asset managers.
