A guide for engagement with companies on biodiversity themes by investors and lenders has been launched by members of the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation and the Finance@Biodiversity Community. Topics covered in the guide include scope of engagement, priority sectors, and objective- and target-setting. The guide also includes advice to investors on use of voting practices and related activities to influence investee companies, as well as an annex, updated quarterly, which provides an overview of ongoing and past biodiversity-related collaborative engagements. To mark the launch, Finance@Biodiversity co-hosted a webinar with the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative and the Principles for Responsible Investment.
