The top 10 of this year’s Just 100 rankings were dominated by firms in the banking and tech sectors, with Bank of America leading the list for the first time. The annual analysis by non-profit Just Capital ranks the largest public companies on issues that the American public deems most important. This year, the number one priority among those surveyed was paying a fair, living wage, followed by domestic job creation, ethical leadership, and employee health and safety. Three of the top ten ranked companies were banks, with Bank of America ranked fifth alongside Truist Financial and JPMorgan Chase taking tenth. The remainder of the list was largely comprised of tech or tech-related firms, with Microsoft coming in third, Verizon in sixth place, while Apple and Intel ranked eighth and ninth respectively.
