European private equity firm Agilitas has bolstered its transformation and ESG team with two new appointments. Matthias Hansch has been named as the firm’s Head of Transformation, while Alison Prout has joined as an ESG Transformation Professional. Hansch has more than two decades of industry experience, including spells at McKinsey and Alix Partners. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting Agilitas-backed businesses in the “design and implementation of their transformation plans”. In her new role as ESG Transformation Professional, Prout will support Agilitas across its responsible investment and sustainable value creation. She has more than twenty years of experience working on social, environmental and development opportunities for investor networks, governments, NGOs and UN agencies. Prout has previously worked at Ceres, the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, and the United Nations Environment Programme. Martin Calderbank, Managing Partner at Agilitas, said: “Matthias’s expertise enables the businesses we back to more effectively deliver shareholder value aligned with their respective fundamental purpose.
