Will Anderson, World Resources Institute

Will Anderson manages the growing pipeline of land restoration projects at the World Resources Institute’s Global Restoration Initiative. He helps lead TerraMatch, a digital platform that connects tree-growing organisations to funders and reports on their progress, and TerraFund for AFR100, a grant and loan facility for African restoration projects and enterprises. He also coordinates WRI's contributions to the Priceless Planet Coalition and supports donor engagement. Previously, Will led communications and engagement for the team, working across Africa, Latin America, and South Asia to demystify the complexities of ecosystem restoration and accelerate action. Before that, he earned a Master's degree in International Development from Sciences Po, a university in France, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and International Studies from Johns Hopkins University in the US.
