He has 23 years of experience investing in developed and emerging economies, including as Managing Director in the Asian Fixed Income Division at Credit Agricole Indosuez and 13 years at Lehman Brothers as an Executive Director. Appleby has received an MA in Zoology, and a BA in Zoology and Anthropology, from Oxford University, and owns and runs his own mixed organic farm.
