Nicolas Jaquier, Ninety One

Nicolas Jaquier a Portfolio Manager in the fixed income team at Ninety One where he is responsible for managing the Emerging Markets Sustainable Blended Debt Strategy and researching and generating investment ideas in Latin American bond and currency markets. He joined the firm from Allianz Global Investors where he worked as an emerging market debt (EMD) strategist, with key research responsibilities including coverage of Latin American markets and the development of an ESG process for EMD. Prior to this, Jaquier worked for Standard Life Investments as an economist for EMD where he covered Latin American economies and generated investment ideas in the region. He started his career working for a central bank, the Swiss National Bank, having graduated from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva with a Masters in International Studies – Economics, and is a CFA Charterholder.
