Lindsey Stewart, Morningstar

Lindsey Stewart is the Director of Investment Stewardship Research within Morningstar’s Global Manager Research team. His role involves analysing asset managers’ policies and practices on ESG and sustainable investing, with a focus on active ownership. With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, Stewart joined Morningstar in 2022 from the Financial Reporting Council – the UK’s audit, accounting and corporate governance regulator – where he was Head of Stakeholder Engagement. Prior to that, his career spans over 20 years in investor relations consulting, equity research, financial reporting, and communications at KPMG and Makinson Cowell.
