Florian Gallo's bio Florian Gallo is a climate scientist with a background in earth sciences and currently leads the research on physical climate risks at London Stock Exchange Group. He previously worked for Carbone 4, a French climate consultancy company where he was leading projects on physical climate risks and adaptation for finance and corporates. Prior to that he spent three years as a climate services scientist at the UK Met Office in Exeter, developing usable IP and products and training meteorologists in Africa and Asia. Gallo originally trained as a geologist and has a PhD in geosciences from University of Lorraine where he focused on the interactions of landslides and monsoon rainfall in the Himalayas.
