Emma Johnson, Ashurst

Emma Johnson is a partner in Ashurst's dispute resolution practice, specialising in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty disputes. She also has public international law experience, having acted in proceedings for and against states, both under the ICSID Convention and before the International Court of Justice. Johnson has advised on arbitrations under all of the major arbitral rules for clients in various sectors, but has particular expertise in the renewables and oil & gas sectors, including recently acting in a number of multi-million dollar ICC arbitrations arising out of construction and operation of what was at the time of its construction the world's largest solar plant.
