Dr Anthony Kirby, EY

Dr Anthony Kirby is Partner and Head of Global Regulatory Reform for Capital Markets and Asset Management in the Risk & Regulation Division of the Financial Services practice of EY. Focusing increasingly on regulation and technologies in the financial, sustainable investing and artificial intelligence sectors, Dr Kirby is a veteran thought leader and a financial industry expert spanning both regulation and risk with active involvement in future-facing financial technologies such as algorithmic trading processes, meta-data informatics, and distributed ledger technologies. He is currently deeply involved in ESG risk and regulation industry work and the associated data provision, having enjoyed a solid track record of commercial and business leadership performance of over 30 years in the European, Asia/Pac and North American global financial and supply chain marketplaces. Kirby received his BA, M. Phil, MA and PhD, all from the University of Cambridge, and is an author and an experienced presenter for several industry publications, conferences and events.
