Carol Adams, Durham University Business School

Carol Adams is a Professor of Accounting at Durham University Business School. Professor Adams MSc PhD CA FAICD is an internationally recognised researcher in corporate accounting and reporting and its role in the relationships between business, society and the environment. She served as technical expert to the UN Development Programme's SDG Impact Team in 2020 and 2021, contributing to the development of SDG Impact Standards, is Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, and has previously been involved in the work of both the GRI and IIRC (now VRF).
